RE: Are Enqueue locks implemented with a FIFO queuing mechanism

Unfortunately this locking scenario hasn't re-occurred since I posted this question, and I haven't been able to re-produce in staging. If and when it happens again I'll post the output from v$lock. thanks for your help.
