Thanks Hemant,

I didn't really expect AIX to be supported to a different date, but then everything seems to be different on AIX... (I'm more a Solaris/Linux guy).

Cheers,
Tony

Curious why "Database" is not under "Product Roadmap"

For Database Desupport dates see
"Oracle Database (RDBMS) Releases Support Status Summary [ID 161818.1]"

on "SomeOne's Oracle Support".

Database Desupport Dates (except for the recent flap over Itanium and
some years ago, some much older platforms) are not by Platform but only
by version. Thus, when a version ends Premium Support, it ends on all
Platforms.

Subject: Desupport notices buried...

G'day all.

I've just spent an hour trying to unearth the desupport notices for the
database software on the infamous "His Oracle Support" (..certainly not
mine, that is.. >:o ). What I'm specifically after is the end-of-support

dates for 11gR1 on AIX. Does anyone have a link to the dark & lonely
crypt where Oracle keeps that kind of information nowadays?

On a lighter note: here's a riddle from HOS's "Product Roadmap":
"In which of the following product lines hides the database
software?"
        - AIA
        - G-Log
        - JD Edwards Enterprise One
        - JD Edwards World
        - Oracle Fusion
        - Oracle Fusion Edge
        - Oracle GRC
        - PeopleSoft Enterprise
        - Siebel
        - User Productivity Kit and Tutor

Have fun...

Cheers,
Tony
