There's an excellent guide on installing GC11 at:

Although it's not an upgrade guide, there's some gems in there like the Weblogic requirements, e.g. do NOT use the latest version and make sure to fire off an SR to get the required patch which is not downloadable.
Good luck! Make sure to post back your thoughts on the upgrade, should you choose to accept that mission.
