Read "Oracle 11g underground advice for DBA" by our fellow lister April Sims and the book is a collection of a lot of practical tips and techniques. I would recommend reading this book for all beginner/intermediate levels who are working with 11g. There is lods of practical knowledge there. Experienced folks could skim through the chapters and was skimming very refreshing. I picked up at least 2 that I was not aware...
- keypass utility for storing unix uid/pwd for SSH/putty connectivity (useful especially when you are handling tens of servers).
- External password store feature..
planning to repeat the read and there could be more learnings
Fantastic work by the author and the technical reviewers...
