You still need to run catbundle script in each database that is using the CPU patched ORACLE_HOME.

Then you will see rows returned for your query SELECT * FROM registry$history;

Subject: CPU patch applied?

I installed 11.1.0.7 on Linux and then applied Jan CPU Patch to the software successfully. THEN I created the databases. Will the security patch automatically be applied to the databases in that scenario since it was applied to the software BEFORE the creation of the databases or do I still need to run catbundle in each database? How can you verify that the security patch has been applied to the database in this type of scenario? I did a SELECT * FROM registry$history; and no rows were returned.
