Re: RMAN recover is asking for old archivelog files

I had this problem when I was restoring from a remote node. A network error occurred during the restore, so a few of the datafiles were marked as being very old. I re-ran the RMAN restore script and RMAN was smart enough to restore only the datafiles that had the problem. v$recover_file was useful for figuring out which files had the problem.
