Ahhh. In our case the requirement was to encrypt just some sensitive data and crypyo fits very well for this.

Thanks. We need to encrypt all of the redo going to the standby. It would be easier, though, if the sensitive data were encrypted in the database. I'll check to see if that's the case...our programmers would know that. That would be great...and I wouldn't have to worry about the network then!
