I did, although not much because I was supposed to support Oracle on Unix and I started with a 5.0 beta on Solaris. That were the times when Oracle was an SQL/DS copycat.
If you had been trendy, you would have set your prompt to AFI> (Advanced), since this is what SQL*Plus would have been called if the marketing hadn't intervened ... Today it only survives in afiedt.buf and routine names.
