I like it, should be a lot faster. I wonder what Andrew says.

Even if it is unix, we are still using Sqlplus eh?

Also the login.sql idea could be handy by Howard.

Morning all,

try set colsep "" (two double quotes, nothing in between). The default is set colsep " " (one space).

SQL> -- Default - one space.
SQL> select dummy,dummy from dual;

D D
- -
X X

SQL> -- Underscore.
SQL> set colsep _
SQL> /

D_D

-_-
X_X
SQL> -- Nothing, just as nature intended!
SQL> set colsep ""
SQL> /
