BCT is great! Learn it, use it, love it! :)

Brandon is right, of course, it's a change to your backup strategy, so, test thoroughly. But, I haven't had any issues or run into any bugs related to BCT.

I've been using it for years on several databases with different versions and different operating systems and never encountered a problem, and yes, I have done several restores using the incremental backups created with BCT too. I have not used a BCT file on a standby database though so can't comment on that. As with any backup/recovery strategy - test it thoroughly in your specific environment before relying on it in production.
