Hi everyone!
Today I was asked if it would be able to install Oracle XE on a 64 bits system. I said that Oracle does not provide a 64 bits packages but I found a couple of hacks to actually install it on a 64 bits platform. What I was wondering is if there is any performance enhancement doing this or this would be like having Oracle XE on a 32 bits system? Even though still a good thing because other software would benefit from the 64 bits system. ;o)
PS. Does any one know if oracle intend to release a version of Oracle XE for 64 bits system?
Thanks!
