Hi Avadhani,

You mention that it runs fine for a while *and then* hangs? Are you monitoring the database during these periods using OEM or any home grown scripts? Specifically, you should look for Wait events such as Lib cache load lock/pin or other situations where one session attempts to change (DDL) an object while another is actively using it. Also check your alert logs, i.e. look for the obvious before you go hunting for the esoteric :)
