All,

I just observed a collegue responding to a similar Link-Me-In invite and it occurred to me that part of their sign-up process acts as an email virus..

When joining LinkedIn it is NOT a good idea to have it scan your contact lists and spam everyone in it. Chances are that some list addresses appear in your automatically collected addresses! There is a link underneath the page that offers you to scan your email addresses that says "Skip This Step".

Hope this may go some length toward stemming the flow of "LinkIn" spam ;)

Cheers,
Tony
