RE: oracle sar

Program generates a sar file and we read that file using sar -f file_name which has multiple days data( 1 week)....we need to filter and get only last 48 hours data and email the report of last 48 hrs to users.

sar can do this for you. let sar run with option "-o", then feed it again into sar for producing readable output.
