Yes this is true. The problem was in 10.2.0.1, and the script was part of the 10.2.0.2 patchset. Of course 10.2.0.2 is a big stinking turd otherwise, so go right to 10.2.0.4 if you can, or maybe someone has posted the contents of that script online for you to run.
