Anyone had success using a Thawte Wildcard certificate with 10.1.2.3.0 version of Oracle Application Server?

Imported the root certificate which is shown in owm, but the certificate in the wallet is actually empty.

Does that mean that only server certificates that are requested by this Application Server can be used? Wildcard certificates can take the form of *.domain which are supposed to work with any server for that domain. Oracle products have had problems in the past with unusual certificates. I was able to get this wildcard certificate to work with a wallet on a database utilizing a db package call but not the app server itself.

Someone else posted a similar question in the oracle-l archives but there wasn't an answer posted. The actual error is as follows: (incorrect cipher suites)

SSL call to NZ function nzos_Handshake failed with error 29040 [ID 473047.1]

Appreciate any advice or additional information.

thanks
