You could set the nls_comp parameter to "linguistic". This should also work when using the like operator.

Of course, you should test very carefully for possible side affects.

Subject: How can I create a case-insensitive database in oracle?
Hi List,
I have read the following but I am looking for a way to create a case-insensitive database. Is it even possible?

Thanks,
Roger Xu
