The 10g listener is running on the default port. The 11g lsnrctl executable is being used to manage it! That'll be a function of Oracle's annoying, to me, habit of prepending instead of appending to the PATH variable.

Howard. Your logs and traces in 11g go into the diagnostic_dest directory - under a convoluted structure starting with diag where all the log files have turned into xml and the text logs are trace files. This is however rather well documented, if poorly justified. The default is $ORACLE_BASE. Niall
