wait... didn't Oracle just make an alliance with HP? what about exadata? does this mean Oracle will go back to sun? does this mean Solaris won't die? I thought IBM was buying sun... that would've been great. They kill off solaris and veritas, use tivoli and aix. Aix gets beter compatibility with Oracle, SPARC dies off and P6 takes over.

oh, well.. it was a good dream.

On the other hand, perhaps now veritas clusterware will work!!! Alan Bort
