hostname is in /etc/hosts and resolves OK, but "hostname" command still returns old hostname, even after reboot

Hosts file on all boxes that access it also tnsnames on any box that access the db. 2009/3/31 John Dunn <JDunn_at_sefas.com<mailto:JDunn_at_sefas.com>> Sys admin wants to change the hostname of the server running Oracle 10.

What oracle configuration do I need to change so oracle will still work?
