I'm not sure if your slow instance startup has anything to do with clsrcstartorp: Error with malloc.

On memory allocation at startup, check PRE_PAGE_SGA - http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/initparams168.htm have you changed anything (e.g adjusted spfile parameters) during the change?
