                Did you insisted on VIPCA to succeed? It usually fails when started by OUI and needs to be ran manually

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to setup RAC with 10g R2 and could suceed till Oracle software installation, while configuring listener I am facing the below problem, dont know is it related to any permission issue. Could anyone please show me the light OR lend me the RAC setup (10g R2 on RHEL 5)? Thanks in advance.

Error Details:

Problem in configuration: Nodes(s): linux1: CRS-0213: Could not register resource 'ora.linux1.LISTENER_LINUX1.lsnr'. Nodes(s): linux2: CRS-0213: Could not register resource 'ora.linux1.LISTENER_LINUX2.lsnr'.

Try again?

If anyone can let me know the installation blog/ doc it will be really helpful.
