This was a 9./2.0.8 problem but if the view in question references a SYS owned object check out the following My Oracle Support document

If neither applies then it might be time to open a SR.

	Is there anything in the alert log? As you may know, ORA-3113

has been a symptom of countless bugs over time (especially with views, I recall); armed with more info you might be able to construct a more useful Metalink query.
