EM Grid control with FQDN on Solaris

I have installled Oracle EM grid control on Solaris Sparc box. Setup configured both OEM server and agent with short host names which is bad because server and database are on separate subnets.

Does anyone know how to force grid setup to configure Fully Qualified Domain Names of short names?
I suspect it has something to do with the fact that on our Solaris boxes "hostname" command returns short names.
