RAC and srdf

I have a client that has a 6-node RAC and they want to use srdf to replicate the instance to a non-RAC instance. So in a recovery scenario, if the non-RAC database needs a redo log from instance 3, for example, can we still apply it to the non-RAC instance even though thread 3 is not active? I believe we can without any issues, but wanted to confirm.
