Hi Christopher/Finn/David,

Thanks for your help. I did Deployments -> Refresh Host Configuration for the GridControl host machine, that cleared away the old repository db from the GRIDControl home page. Then edited targets.xml, restarted agent, everything looks fine now :)

In my experience the GUI does an awful job in scenarios such as the below. Finn has the solution though, stop the agent, remove the old target from the targets.xml, and rediscover, then remove the old entry through the GUI.

In my experience GC does not detect upgrades. It has no idea what you're trying to do. Stored in the repository (and targets.xml file) is the old OH.
You need to update this by either in the GUI going to the host and the targets tab and clicking on the agent. Then select the database and click
configure and update the OH. Or you can remove it and rediscover it.
