Hi Dennis,

I've had both installed on Windows servers without any problem.

Something to consider:

What is the application using that client, and how does it find the Oracle client?

Most apps seem to allow for configuring which Oracle installation is in use. Usually a config file or environment variable that points to the correct ORACLE_HOME. If the app relies on the PATH variable to find Oracle, that can be a problem

with multiple Oracle homes on Windows.

One way around that is to have a separate user to run the app, so that it can have its own environment. SAP works that way.
