Just a guess but did you have a log file name convert statement in the aux instance spfile?

Hi, List,
I am running into an error when trying to clone a database with RMAN. The error message is the following. Error seems to be a permission issue but actually it shouldn't because RMAN finished restoring and recovering the datafiles successfully, it fails only when it tries to re-create the online logs. Has anybody seen this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Oracle 10.2.0.3 on Linux x-64, Cloning from a 2-node RAC db to a 5-node RAC db.
Thanks,
-Li
