I have a table with some corrupt blocks- fortunately the related rows are
not needed
as it is very historic data.
Unfortunately when I try to execute the
DBMS_REPAIR.fix_corrupt_block procedure I get an ORA-01578 - which is rather
annoyingly
the "you have corrupt blocks message". Surely this message shouldn't happen
when
you are trying to flag the blocks as corrupt? I have looked in the output
table REPAIR_TABLE
there is no output so its not a case of 'just ignore the message'
