RE: Change RAC name

I think it's officially not supported, but it's possible, if you follow the procedure here: http://www.pythian.com/blogs/482/changing-hostnames-in-oracle-rac

I used the above to rebuild CRS without having to reinstall, after changing hostnames and cluster name.

It worked well for me.
