Re: ora_dbw eat 900MB memory, an user process eat 1GB memory

You can't just add up the os memory reported by process, since it will double count shared memory. You should check out Christo's excellent presentation on the Pythian website at
http://www.pythian.com/blogs/741/pythian-goodies-free-memory-swap-oracle-and-everything -
it's good stuff.
