Something doesn't match. According to your last post you are using LGWR as redo shipping mechanism, but in original post you showed errors from an archiver and names aren't matching (MSGSTBY vs. PRODSTBY)...

Did you check and verified that IP addresses are correct by running the following commands on the primary:

to get the primary IP
ifconfig -a

to verify standbys IP
ping -sn standbyhost
ping -sn standbyhost.my.com
