Need assistance with data guard

V10.2.0.1
RHEL5 I was using *Note:387339.1

I am close but not home free yet.

I see the above but nothing I have changed has made any difference.

1. Exactly how do I obtain the "DGID" of the primary.
2. Where on the secondary must this value be deposited?

A Google search showed somebody else had this but no solution was ever posted.

Any clues would be most welcomed.
