10.2.0.4 JDBC driver bug

Has anyone heard of a nasty JDBC driver memory overflow error? I'm installing an application and assumed I would install 10.2.0.4, but the vendor heard there is a JDBC driver error. Since they are entirely JDBC, they didn't want to risk it, and asked that I stick with 10.2.0.3. Didn't have a Bug number or Metalink reference. Has anyone heard of this?
