Hi,

I installed the MS SQL Server plugin (Release 6) for our GC install (10.2.0.4 linux x64). I am having an issue with database space being properly reported (everything else works fine and there are no connection errors), but the 'Microsoft SQLServer Space Usage' page is empty. The only errors I can find are in the emagent.trc log from the agent (10.2.0.4 running on Windows 2003 Server r2, SQLServer 2005), and I've been unable to locate similar cases to ours on metalink. An excerpt of our error log, with the below errors showing every 30 and 15 minutes respectively:

...
2008-07-23 09:50:04,022 Thread-4944 ERROR engine:
[microsoft_sqlserver_database,server:3872,_MSSQL_DatabaseFile_2005] :
nmeegd_GetMetricData failed : Result has repeating key value : master, master,PRIMARY
2008-07-23 09:50:04,022 Thread-4944 ERROR engine:
[server:3872,microsoft_sqlserver_database] : MSSQL_DatabaseFile :
nmeeam_GetMetricData failed
...
2008-07-23 09:50:04,022 Thread-4944 WARN collector: <nmecmc.c> Error exit. Error message: Result has repeating key value : master, master,PRIMARY

And

2008-07-23 10:00:59,276 Thread-5284 ERROR engine:
[microsoft_sqlserver_database,server:3872,_MSSQL_DatabasePrimaryFile] :
nmeegd_GetMetricData failed : Result has repeating key value : 5 2008-07-23 10:00:59,276 Thread-5284 ERROR engine:
[microsoft_sqlserver_database,server:3872,_MSSQL_Database_2005_Join] :
nmeegd_GetMetricData failed : Result has repeating key value : 5 2008-07-23 10:00:59,276 Thread-5284 ERROR engine:
[microsoft_sqlserver_database,server:3872,MSSQL_Database] :
nmeegd_GetMetricData failed : Result has repeating key value : 5 2008-07-23 10:00:59,276 Thread-5284 WARN collector: <nmecmc.c> Error exit. Error message: Result has repeating key value : 5

I'm wondering if a good old fashioned server bounce wouldn't rectify the problem.

Figured I'd see if anyone had encountered this before I send Oracle the plethora of files they requires for an EM SR.

Thanks- Chris
