Thank you everybody for your attention and replies.

I have an SR open and working. After our efforts, the analyst has referred me to the storage vendor.
Analyst recommended ML 359515.1. So, we have the mount now with (We had soft mounted earlier)

mount -o hard,rw,noac,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,suid,proto=tcp,vers=3 -t nfs

Based on some earlier issues and SR, we already have the event 1028 set. We do have the lockd process running.
