Perhaps you need something like:

    SQL> select 1 from dual where NUMTAB(9,8,4) *submultiset of*     NUMTAB(4,8,9,33) ;              1


             1

    1 row selected.

i.e. (9,8,4) is a subset of (4,8,9,33).
