Hi I am getting some CRS hang issue on Solaris Platform. When it was hanged last time, Pstack was created and when Oracle analyzed, they found that seting for NOFILES are very low which is 256 and Oracle r recommended  that we need to set the following : STACK to at least 32768 NOFILES to at least 4096 Reference - Metalink Note 334567.1 - Pre-Install checks for 10gR2 RDBMS (10.2.x) - SUN Solaris Platforms. Our SA refused to make this setting as they mentioned tht setting STACK from 8196 to 32K is very high. Do we have any Sun documentation or SUn blueprint that shows that this is required.  I can show them the setting as they refused to use the Oracle document and telling that both Sun and EMC donot recommend it. I know that lots of expert in the group are using it and can share their experience and has access to sun internal doc and really appreciate some help to understand it. Ours is 2-node RAC with 4 major Database running on them. It is 10.20.3 on Solaris 10 TIA Sanjay
