New blog from John Beresniewicz, Graham Wood and I dedicated to ASH or Active Session History.
Included on the blog are queries on ASH to give

   Overview of database performance
Aggregations of top sql, session, package, procedure    Drilldowns into information on buffer busy waits, IO, Locks etc

as well as tools to

simulate ASH ( a licensed option on 10g) on any version of Oracle from v7 on up

graphically monitor ASH ( like OEM 10g, another licensed option) via 10g ASH or simulated ASH (S-ASH)

The idea of the blog is a to create a place to exchange ideas on how to best harness this new powerful, multidimensional datasource for performance monitoring and tuning.

Best
Kyle
