" What command causes this output?"

Backup recovery area;

...a subsequent attempt to backup the recovery area succeeds far more often than not.

you have to catalog
/oraback1/flash_recovery_area/REMGT/backupset/2008_06_02/o1_mf_nnndf_TAG 20080602T013340_4476rf8l_.bkp
before you can use it. The validation delivered another file /oraback1/flash_recovery_area/REMGT/backupset/2008_06_02/o1_mf_nnndf_TAG 20080602T013340_4477p0db_.bkp
which is different.

So it's not SO strange ;)

And: You CAN't ignore that. What command causes this output?

Regards
Martin
