Has anyone done anything with a single node database through data guard to a logical standby that is a RAC? What is the largest number of tables that anyone has done streams with to get from one configuration to another (as in downstream data capture)? How complex is it to set up and maintain downstream data capture with all of the rules that would keep a huge delete from upwards of 700 tables from going down through the logical standby and into a reporting database? Anyone have an OLTP setup that feeds an ODS on a different platform and how is it set up? I have a Solaris database that I really want to be able to run as an ultimate source for a linux data warehouse and a linux reporting database.... And the volume is pretty hefty (over 2 million transactions a day) Thanks in advance April ----------------------------------------- Confidentiality Notice!
