In 10g Release 1 I set this parameter to fix the problem below.

sql>alter system set "_kgl_large_heap_warning_threshold"=8388608 scope=spfile ;

Memory Notification: Library Cache Object loaded into SGAHeap size 14278K exceeds notification threshold (8192K)

As you can now see in 10.2.0.3.0 it has exceeded 8192K and is complainingabout 14278k.

Oracle has stated ( DocID: 330239.1 ) that the parameter defaults to 50M 10.2.0.2.0.

My database is 10.2.0.3.0. What is the best way to reset this parameter?

Use an alter statement and set to 50M or delete the parameter from the pfile andreset the instance? thanks.
