RE: HH24:MI:SS in RMAN log

Works for me still (11g)  

export NLS_DATE_FORMAT='DD-MON-YY HH24:MI:SS' (note the single quotes - you don't seem to have them)

It used to be if you wanted a detailed timestamp in the RMAN log you just had to:  

NLS_DATE_FORMAT=YYYY-MM-DD:HH24:MI:SS; export NLS_DATE_FORMAT

Call rman.  

That doesn't seem to cut now. Is there something else? I'm getting:    

VERSION 9.2.0.6, HP/UX:   channel ch00: starting piece 1 at 14-APR-08

channel ch02: finished piece 1 at 14-APR-08

Maybe I'm losing my setting some how?
