If the NLS_DATE_FORMAT still works, I think I found it.
The netbackup script provided by them, builds the job in a CMD_STR.
This starts out like this:
I think all I have to do was add the NLS_DATE_FORMAT here in similar format.
Should know when it runs next week, but I may try to find a "daily" job and check for the same thing.

Subject: HH24:MI:SS in RMAN log
It used to be if you wanted a detailed timestamp in the RMAN log you just had to:
NLS_DATE_FORMAT=YYYY-MM-DD:HH24:MI:SS; export NLS_DATE_FORMAT Call rman.
That doesn't seem to cut now. Is there something else? I'm getting:
VERSION 184.108.40.206, HP/UX:
channel ch00: starting piece 1 at 14-APR-08
channel ch02: finished piece 1 at 14-APR-08

2.0,MMS Version 220.127.116.11
channel ch02: backup set complete, elapsed time: 01:17:28 channel ch02: starting incremental level 0 datafile backupset
Maybe I'm losing my setting some how?
