San Antonio, Texas Company needs an Oracle DBA with Peoplesoft experience to join their staff.

Salary could go up to 95K for the right person and relocation assistance is provided.

• Responsibilities:
  -Manage daily operation and performance of production databases
  running Oracle RAC under multiple O/S platforms, by proactively monitoring core statistics and react on reported findings.
  -Support applications development teams in new development efforts
  and major applications upgrades and project migrations, primarily under PeopleSoft.Technical area expertise with SQL, SQR, PeopleTools, and PeopleSoft Security.
  -Identify and facilitate the resolution of project issues with
  technical areas and external technical consultants.
  -Research, plan, and coordinate database and tools upgrade project
  activities of the technical leads including Systems, DBAs, Information Security, and Network Support.
  -Manage application component processes and servers.
  -Document, track, and oversee all database customizations and modifications.
  -Plan, manage and prove database integrity utilizing multiple
  backup/restore methodologies.
  -Manage allocation of system storage and planning future storage requirements.
  -Thorough knowledge of Oracle modules and services, and apply them to
  solve business problems to enhance institution operations.
  -Maintain safety, integrity and performance of multiple databases
  existing on multiple O/S platforms.
  -Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field, with
seven years of experience working with Oracle relational databases;   experience with database administration, application design and analysis, and proven team leadership experience.
-Peoplesoft Experience.
-Experience with administration of databases under multiple Operating
Systems such as; Linux, Tru64, Unix, and Windows with large,   complex application systems and multiple file structures and/or large data networks.
