Hi,

It looks like you and your DBAs are using standard (provided by Oracle) JDK to load java classes. Developers are more sophisticated in that field and most likely are using newer one. Starting from JDK 1.4.2_05 it is not supported to use slash '/' as class separator and java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Illegal name exception will be raised.
