Re: Gathering of Statistics

That would be reasonable to expect but not reasonable to receive. The people who understand how the application interacts with the database is always the best person to determine how statistics need to be gathered. Not too many developers have that kind of expertise however so be diligent in reviewing any suggestions received from them.
