Sorry for taking so long to get back to this - been too busy. No - there are no LOBs, CLOBs or similar in the table - just varchar2, date, number.

Do you have LOBs in this table? Be aware that LOBs don't use the traditional Rollback/Undo segments, but use DB Blocks within the table to store the entire LOB in case of DML: This little "feature" has caught many of us...
