Oracle DBA Needed in Cleveland Ohio

Cleveland Ohio company needs an Oracle DBA to join it' staff.

Base salary: 71000 - 89000 and Full benefits.

NO Relocation assistance is provided.

This position requires a flexible, self-motivated, team player with demonstrated experience in Oracle database administration and development with the ability to manage backups, maintain schema entities and troubleshoot performance problems. Candidate must have a thorough understanding
of ETL processes, dimensional schemas and overall data warehousing concepts.

The candidate will be responsible for scripting, installation, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting and tuning Oracle 9i and 10g databases.
Project management responsibilities include identifying the scope of assigned projects, generating solutions to technical issues, reporting analysis and results, and providing deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.

The DBA should be capable of thinking independently, but operating in a team environment with a willingness to follow predefined IT policies and procedures. Must be able to work independently and be able to participate on approved projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years Oracle Database Administration experience with configuration, backup/recovery and space management. Shell scripting experience on a UNIX platform (SUN Solaris). Strong knowledge of SQL and SQL tuning.
Knowledge of MS Windows/SUN Solaris operating systems. Experience with monitoring and tuning databases to ensure system availability. Ability to manage user groups and permission to the databases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Independent thinker and problem solver.
Must possess strong inter-personal relations and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
