The fact that BLKSIZE is still supported with ALLOCATE and SEND, but not CONFIGURE CHANNEL seems rather strange.

Though I have not yet tested it, I am guessing (sorry Alex :) that using SEND as the first command in a RUN block would work if automatic channels are configured. I'll test it later.
